We get quite a few requests to support various groups and individuals as they undertake cyle rides for charity and/or good causes.Unfortunately we cannot support them all as the finances just won't stretch that far.

We were asked towards the end of last year to provide a bike for a group of service personnel based in Camp Bastion in Afghanistan.The camp is a big place and they would be using the bike for exercise and for simply getting around the base.

So we sent them a bike, a new Trek,in September 2011.

I got an e mail today (22.2.12) to say the bike had arrived and here to prove it is a photo of the bike and riders.

The bike looks well past its first service already.

We will be making some changes on the ground floor of Grantham store week commencing 20th February.

The store will remain open throughout with (hopefully) minimal disruption to our customers.

We are replacing the carpets on the ground and first floors in Grantham on the 27th,28th and 29th February.The work will mainly be done during the evenings but we will be shutting at 4pm on these days to allow the fitters access to the store.

If this is likely to inconvenience you e.g. picking up a bike after repair or service please speak to Jeff or Spen in store and we will try to accomodate you as best we can.

The Times newspaper has launched a major campaign to try to improve safety for cyclists in the UK.

The campaign is focused on improving safety for cyclists in cities or built up areas but also addresses safety issues for those riders who use roads outside towns and cities.

You can pledge your support for this campaign at the following web site thetimes.co.uk/cyclesafe . In pledging your support you will be joining 23000 others who have already done so.

There will be a Parliamentary debate on this issue on the 23^rd February.

To maximise the impact of the debate we need as many MPs as possible to attend the debate.

 The Times web page shows you how you can write to your MP to bring this matter to their attention.

The more of us that write the bigger the impact.

We have a couple of Poggio models from the new MEKK range .A full carbon framed bike priced at £1100 available at both Grantham and Lincoln. The bike has been reviewed on Bike Radar which gave it four out of five stars no less!

We've started taking delivery of Focus bikes.

More bikes will be delivered over the coming weeks but both stores now have a limited range of bikes in stock.

We have two wheelsets at knock down prices currently in store.

Lincoln has a set of Token C33Ac carbon/alloy road racing wheels.Originally priced at +£500 we now have them for sale at £420.

Grantham has a set of American Classic MTB wheels.Originally priced at £399 we now have these wheels for sale at £270.

If you live outside our area we can arrange shipment of these items at cost.
